Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia

Born in 1955.

A carrier diplomat. Graduated from Moscow State Institute for International Relations (University) in 1978.

Served at Soviet/Russian Embassies in Bangladesh, USA, New Zealand, Republic of Korea and Cambodia.

In 1999-2003 – Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Cambodia.

In 2003-2009 – Deputy Director of the Department of ASEAN and Common Asian Problems at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Held the position of the Deputy Director of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Trade.

Member of the board of the Russia-ASEAN Joint Planning and Management Committee, Russia-ASEAN Joint Cooperation Committee.

Responsible for Russia's involvement with a number of Asia-Pacific international organizations/fora: ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Council for Security Cooperation in Asia-Pacific (CSCAP), etc.

Since June 2009 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Fluent in English.

Married, with one daughter.
